the at-home workforce

an artists' perspective

While we have seen the shift to working at home for many businesses and will continue to see a huge shift to people working at home, we have to remember that human contact or socializing outside of a screen will be important.

There will be a need to address the spirit of the team over time. Creating a community of communication is critical to maintain and grow a business. The at-home workforce will be productive and cost savings will be incredible. There will be a need for occasional physical team meetings or events to build and develop the teams. Eventually, there will be conferences and retreats where teams gather to reconnect, brainstorm and hear new corporate info. It will be a necessity.

As an artist, I’ve had less adjusting to do than many to our restricted status (mind you I miss my social outings!!) I am used to, and thrive, working alone. I’ve had plenty of time to get even more creative.

My vision going forward includes using the power of art to help teams reconnect and stay connected. It will give people the opportunity to explore new ways of thinking and processing information.
